Biography
He was born on September 20, 1920 in the village of Zirikly of the Belebeevsky district of the Ufa province (now in the Sharansky district of Bashkortostan ). After a seven-year school, he graduated from the Ufa Geological Prospecting College. In 1939, drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. He served in the border troops. The beginning of World War II met in Iran. In 1941-1942 he fought on the Caucasian and South-Western fronts. On the Stalingrad Front, already being a company commander and lieutenant, Abdullin was seriously wounded [2] . After recovery, he graduated from the Higher Officer Courses "Shot" in Ufa, becoming the deputy commander of the battalion. He was awarded military orders and medals. After being demobilized in June 1945 , he worked for seven years as his own correspondent for the republican newspaper Sovet Bashkortostany , and at the same time began to engage in writing. Member of the CPSU since 1947 [3] . In 1949 he was admitted to the Union of Writers of the USSR [2] . In 1952 he entered the Literary Institute. Gorky in Moscow, who graduated in 1957 .
He died on July 9, 2005 . He was buried in the oldest Muslim cemetery in Ufa [1] , which was closed for burial, but an exception was made for a respected writer [4] .
Creativity
He began to compose plays at the age of 10-11 years. At the age of 14, he wrote the play " Homeless Children ", which was staged both in his native village and in the neighboring ones [2] . It began to be published in 1938 , debuting with the play “ Scarlet Scarf ”, for which he received an incentive prize at a republican contest [2] . The first book of short stories “ He was from the Urals ” ( Bashk. Uraldan ul Street ) was published in 1946.
He is the author of four novels (all devoted to the Great Patriotic War), about a dozen stories, many stories, short stories, journalistic articles, more than thirty lyrics, put to music by Bashkir and Tatar composers.
Abdullin made a great contribution to the Bashkir drama: about thirty multi-act and over fifty plays of small forms, both dramatic and comedic. His first post-war play “ Devon Fountains ” ( Bashk. Devon Fountains - about oil industry workers; in Moscow was called “ Deep Breath ”) was staged at the Bashkir Academic Drama Theater named after Gafuri in 1947 and won a second prize at a republican competition [2] . In the future, the performances of his plays were successfully performed at various stage venues in Bashkiria and Tatarstan [4] .
