Karanovskaya - a river in Russia , flows in the Shashkovsky rural district of the Nazarovsky rural settlement of the Rybinsk district of the Yaroslavl region. The left tributary of the Volga ( Gorky Reservoir ), flows below the Talitsa River and above the Zhydogost River.

The source of the river is located about 500 m west of the village of Gubino . The river flows in the south and southwest. Crosses the road from the village of Shashkovo to the village of Drozdovo , then the road from Shashkovo to Shestovsky and Rybinsk . On the left bank is the village of Martyunino . Then, on the right bank, the village of Karanovo , adjacent to the southern outskirts of the left-bank part of the village of Pesochnoe , separates Pesochnoe and Karanovo from Shashkovo at the mouth of the river, which is located on the right bank of the river.
