The source of the river is located approximately 500 m north of the Prosvet platform of the Rybinsk- Sonkovo railway . The river flows north and northeast. After about 4 km, the creek crosses the Rybinsk- Glebovo highway between the villages of Dyatlovo (left bank) and Harinskaya (right bank). After that, the stream flows through the immediate vicinity of the city, between many villages. On the right bank is the village of Ryabukhino , on the left - Artyushino and Speshino , again on the right - Kolosovo . Further, the stream crosses a local branch railway leading to the locks of the Rybinsk reservoir . After the railway, on the left bank is the village of Shishkino , and on the right is the large village of Malinniki . Further, the stream crosses the road connecting the central part of Rybinsk with the Perebori microdistrict. On the right bank along the road is the relatively large village of Makarovo and downstream the village of Anufrievo . On the left bank there is a rural cemetery and a small church of Alexander Nevsky , built at the beginning of the 20th century. Further along the left bank is the village of Ilyino , the Rybinsk cable factory and the mouth. The mouth is located about 1.5 km below the Rybinsk hydroelectric dam and shipping locks . On the right bank of the creek, and along the Volga below its mouth, stands the village of Sterledevo . On the opposite left bank of the stream, between its mouth and the dam of the hydroelectric power station, the territory of the Rybinsk hydromechanization plant, built on the site of the former village of Fominskoe, which gave the name to the stream.
