Biography
S. Istomin in domestic competition in favor of SKO and Shymkent . Multiple champion of Kazakhstan.
At the 2005 Asian Championships in Dubai , he picked up 155 kg in a snatch , which allowed him to win a small bronze.
At the 2009 Asian Championships in Taldykorgan , having shown the result of 187 + 210 = 397, he took the bronze in the jerk and the gold in the snatch and the sum of biathlon.
