Boset-Bericha is a volcano in Ethiopia , in the region of Oromia .

Boset-Berich Volcano is a stratovolcano . The highest point is 2447 meters. It is located 95 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa , west of the Avash River. It covers an area of 12x15 kilometers. It consists of two cones, consisting mainly of rhyolites and trachytes . Initially, eruptions were from basalts and trachytes , later eruptions consisted of rhyolites , had an explosive effusive character and formed a caldera , which was formed at the northwestern tip of the Boset peak. The lava flows, consisting of obsidian and pumice, were characteristic of the last eruption. Fumarole activity is observed.
