Bolshaya Churakovka ( Kaz. Bolshoi Churakov ) is a village in the Altynsarinsky district of the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Bolshechurakovsky rural district. It is located about 4 km southeast of the village of Ubaganskoe . The KATO code is 393235100 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 2011 people (989 men and 1022 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 1647 people lived in the village (813 men and 834 women) [2] .
History
In the tract Aitoki-Chilik there was a capture , where the land belonged to the Kazakhs of the third aul Ara of the Karagai volost of Kustanai district.
The Bolshechurakovsky resettlement site was established in 1909 with a loan that arose “about twenty-five years ago.” [3]
On January 21, 1911, the village was founded by a decision of the meeting of the general presence of the Turgai regional government on the basis of the protocol of December 2, 1910, submitted by the Kustanai district congress on the opening of rural societies in the areas: Malochurakovsky, Silantievsky, Bolshechurakovsky, Osipovsky and on the formation of a Russian volost under the name Bolshechurakovskaya [4] .
In 1985, the Ubagansky district was re-formed. The new district included 12 state farms. The village of Bolshaya Churakovka became the center of the Ubagansky district. [five]
