Lee Young Ye

Lee Young- ee ( cor. 이영애 ; born January 31, 1971 , Seoul , South Korea ) is a South Korean actress and model. She starred in such films as “ Empathy with Madame Revenge ” (2005), “ United Security Zone ” (2000), “ Once in the Spring ” (2001), as well as in the television series “The Pearl of the Palace ” (2003-2004). Biography

Lee began her career on television, starring in commercials and TV shows. In 2000, she played the role of a military investigator in the film “ United Security Zone ” by Pak Chan Uk , where Lee Byung Hong and Song Kang Ho starred with her. In 2003, the actress, along with Yu Zhi Te, played a major role in the melodrama Once Upon a Time. For her role in this film, Lee received the Pusan ​​Film Critics Awards as Best Actress [2] .

In 2004, Lee starred in the popular Korean television series Pearl of the Palace [3] , which was watched by three billion people in ninety countries around the world [4] .
