Club

He acted as a goalkeeper . Throughout his career he was a member of Toulouse , as well as several amateur football clubs. He was forced to end his player’s career due to the consequences of a car accident [1] .

Coaching

The first club with which Eli Bop worked as a head coach was Saint-Etienne . Bop led the team in the summer of 1994 and was retired in the 1995/96 season, which did not save the Greens from relegation from League 1 .

In 1997, Bop became Guy Stefan 's assistant at Bordeaux . During the season, Bop replaced Stefan as head coach of the team. In Bordeaux, Bop worked for 5 years and once led the team to victory in the French Championship and the French League Cup .
