Flutbet ( German Flutbett , from Flut - "stream" and Bett - "bed") - a combination of the main parts of a spillway dam (or other pressure hydraulic structure), creating an artificial bed for the flow of water. The term is used, as a rule, in relation to low-pressure dams.
Usually, the following elements are included in the composition of a flush bet : ponur , spillway (spillway threshold or dam body), water spout and apron . Flute bet is designed to perceive the pressure of water, protect the riverbed from erosion by a surface stream, perceive part of the pressure by a retaining structure and protect it from filtration deformations .
Structural solutions and dimensions of the elements of the flashbet are determined according to hydraulic, filtration and static calculations.
