Life and career
Dee Johnson began her career as a screenwriter for the Melrose Place television series in 1993, and then became one of his producers and worked on the project until the final in 1997 [1] . In 1997–1998 she was a show runner for the television series Profiler , and in 2000 took the place of producer and screenwriter for the series Ambulance , for which she received an Emmy nomination [2] .
In 2005–2006, Johnson produced the series “ Woman President ”, and after it was closed, she worked on “ Army Wives ” and “ Southland ” [3] . In 2009, she took the post of chief producer of the TV series “The Good Wife ” and was a show runner for the first season [3] . Then she produced the series “ Rizzoli and Isles ”, and at the end of 2011 she was invited to the post of showrunner of the second season of the series “ Boss ” [4] . In 2012, she was invited to take the place of one of the main producers and co-showr of the Nashville television series [3] .
Dee Johnson is an open lesbian [1] .
