Biography

Born in 1958 in Mosul . He graduated in the United States , he studied engineering at Georgetown University in Washington . For many years, he managed a telecommunications company in Saudi Arabia . After the outbreak of the Iraq war , Ghazi al-Yaver supported the forces of the international coalition and the overthrow of Saddam Hussein . From June 28, 2004 to April 7, 2005, he served as President of Iraq.

Usually appears in public in traditional Arabic clothing; has widespread support from various ethnic and religious groups in Iraq.
