Dongshen ( Chinese control 东山 , pinyin : Dōngshān , literally: "Eastern Mountains") is a district of the city subordination of the Hegun district of Heilongjiang Province ( PRC ).

History
In 1958, the Dongshan and Xinyi Economic Zones (Новая 一 - New First) were formed in this territory, and in 1960, the Dongshan and Xinyi areas were officially formed. In 1966, the Dongshan district was renamed the "Strength of the Masses" (群 力 区), and Xinyi - in "Against Revisionism" (反修 区). In 1980, these two districts were merged into the Dongshan district.

The Dongshan District surrounds the Xingshan, Xianggyang, Gunnong, Nanshan and Xinan districts; in the east it borders on Lobei county, in the southeast - with the city district of Jiamusi , in the west and the north - with the city district of Ichun .
