Biography

Grigory Ryazhsky was born on May 22, 1953. He graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute (today - the Mining Institute of NUST “MISiS” ) in 1975. and Graduate English Courses at the Committee on Economic Relations in 1981. In 1981-1982 - the literary secretary, in 1983-1988 - the senior administrator, deputy. directors of the picture, director of the picture at the Mosfilm film studio. In 1988 he became one of the founders of the independent film company Fora-film. Since 1991, Director General of the film company "Patmos". Since 1995 - an independent producer.

He has been writing prose since 2000. In addition to novels, Grigory Ryazhsky is the author of scripts and short prose, which at various times was published in the magazines Znamya, Ural, Oktyabr, Playboy, Cinema Scripts, Floors, and New Continent.
