Biography
He graduated from the University of Bergen . In his youth, he performed on stage, a member of the SubDiva group, who in 1994 took eighth place in the Norwegian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (Endshö was the author of the words for the competition song).
In 2003 he defended his thesis “The body on the periphery. Reading “The Life of Anthony the Great ” by Athanasius of Alexandria in the perspective of the traditional Greek worldview ”( eng. The body in the periphery. Reading Athanasius' ) [1] . Further studies of the relationship of early Christian doctrine with traditional Greek religious and socio-cultural ideas led to the emergence of the monograph Ancient Greek Belief in Resurrection and Success of Christianity ( Engl. Greek resurrection beliefs and the success of Christianity ; 2009).
Best known for his book "Sex and Religion" ( Nor. Sex og religion ; 2009) - a detailed, popular overview of the teachings and practices of world religions in the field of human sexuality. This book, as noted by critics, is easy to read and replete with interesting facts, but it has a strong political component, showing, in particular, that the traditional religious view of a woman always considers her as a thing belonging to a man [2] . The book was also published in English, Chinese, Italian, Polish, Bulgarian, Serbian, and Swedish.
In 2004—2013 He was the head of the Norwegian human rights organization Menneskerettsalliansen , which deals mainly with protection against discrimination of women and LGBT people .
