The pass connects the Kitlod and Tsaneri glaciers [1] . Its height is 3769 m [2] . Category of complexity by classifier 2A.
The name of the pass, according to one version, is translated from Svan as “third” or “triple” and is due to the fact that in order to pass from the Chegem gorge to the Bezengi gorge, you must pass three passes in a row: Kitlod , Semi, Upper Zanner (along this path Seven is average). According to another version, the pass got its name in honor of seven Soviet climbers who passed it in 1929 [1] .
