Salah al-Din [1] [2] ( Arabic: صلاح الدين ) is a city in northern Iraq located in the Erbil governorate ( Iraqi Kurdistan autonomy). The center of spa and tourist recreation.

Geographical position
The city is located in the central part of the governorate, in the highlands of the western slopes of Zagros , at an altitude of 1067 meters above sea level [1] .
Salah al-Din is located approximately 23 kilometers northeast of Erbil , the provincial capital, and 330 kilometers north of Baghdad , the country's capital.
