Career

Toddla T's first album, “Skanky Skanky”, was released on the 1965 Records label in May 2009 and includes hip hop, electro, garage and dance hall works. The help in creating the album was provided by MC Serocee and Mr. Versalile The album received positive feedback, which served as a further collaboration with Matt Helders of Arctic Monkeys, Benjamin Sophonia, Roots Manuva, Tinchy Stryder, Joe Goddard and Herve. Later, he creates a special mix release from the Fabriclive label series Fabric and is called "Fabriclive 47: Toddla T". Toddla T is currently a DJ throughout the UK, Europe and North America and is a resident of Fabric. He has had regular appearances on BBC Radio 1, entitled "In New DJs We Trust." Later, Toddla T takes part in recording releases of various artists such as Jammer, Trojan Sound System, Lady Chann and Tinchy Stryder. In 2010, he signed with Ninja Tune Records, and Tom is starting work on his next album, Watch Me Dance.

“I was looking for a new contract to record the next album and places to buy. I have a relationship with Ninja Tune because I worked with this label before to help record material to Roots Manuva ... When they found out that I was looking for a label to record a new album, they invited me, we met, and it seemed to me really right. They are just very nice people. It seemed cool - fame, excellent electronics and to my manager, who always helps me, this studio is in the spirit. ”

In December 2011, the BBC announced that Toddla T would broadcast weekly on BBC Radio 1. In 2012, Toddla T released a remixed version of Watch Me Dance: Agitated, which was handled by Sheffield underground stage legends Ross Orton and DJ Pipes.
