Geography

The village is located in the north-east of the Kirov region, in the northern part of the Verkhnekamsk district, on the left bank of the Kama River . The absolute height is 137 meters above sea ​​level [1] . Distance to the district center (the city of Kirs ) - 70 km.

Population

According to the Second Revision ( 1748 ) in the village of Pushetsky, there were 48 male souls (state black-necked peasants ) [2]

According to the 2010 All-Russian Census , the population of the village was 207 people (men — 104, women — 103) [3] .

History

The village was founded in 1735 . In 1844, the stone Ilyinsky church was built in Pushya. The parish consisted of 11 villages, in the village there was a church-parish mixed one-class school , built in 1884 [4] .
