History
Outlaws MC Motorcycle Club was established in 1935 at Matilda Bar on the old American Route 66 highway in McCook , Illinois, a southwestern suburb of Chicago . The clubs were together during World War II, but, like most organizations, their activities were limited at that time. In May 1946, Outlaws took part in the first major post-war Mid-West motorcycle event held at Soldier Field , Chicago .
By 1950, Outlaws expanded rapidly, and most of their members came from the Chicago Club. Recovering in Chicago, they changed their logo: A small skull replaced a winged motorcycle, and the Old English font was also used. These “colors” were embroidered on a black shirt and on leather jackets (usually painted on jackets by hand). In 1954, Crossed Pistons were added to the skull. This design was embroidered on black Western-style shirts with a white piping. The Wild One with Marlon Brando has already used this design. The skull and crossed Pistons were changed in 1959 - they became larger and more detailed. AOA - The acronym logo was adopted in response to the AMA acronym logo.
In 1960, the American Motorcycle Association , which controls all official races in the United States , banned the word “Outlaws” on all racing clothing. Therefore, all riders - members of the club until 1963 wore the OMC (Outlaw Motorcycle Club) badge on their clothes. In 1963, Outlaws became an official member of the 1% Brotherhood of motorcycle clubs, making it the first official 1% club east of the Mississippi River . July 4, 1964, Cult MC from Woresville, NY Outlaws were consumed. During the Springfield Motocross in August of that year, they annexed the Gypsy Raiders from Louisville, Kentucky . Then a chapter was founded in Milwaukee , and Outlaw Nation was established in Chicago - as the Main Headquarters. On January 1, 1965, the American Outlaws Association (AOA) was founded. The emblem of the club, the skull and crossed pistons, became known as "Charlie." In July 1967, the President of the National Outlaws and several other members traveled south from Chicago and authorized the club's first chapter in Florida. The words "God forgives, Outlaws - no" ("GFOD") became the club's motto in 1969.
The club’s first chapter in Iowa was founded in 1978 when the Diablo Knights MC was merged with Outlaws. Members who did not join Chicago Headquarters became National Club Presidents for the first time in 1984, and in 1989 the abbreviation “MC” (Motorcycle Club) was added to the colors. The first European Outlaws chapter was created in France in 1993, and the chapter in Australia was founded the following year. The MC 44 from France also became a chapter. In 1995, the club chapter in Chicago was divided into three groups: Headquarters (Southside - South), Westside-West and Northside-North. The second European chapter was opened in Norway. In 1999, the Belgian Outlaws MC, which had already existed independently for 25 years, became a member of the AOA.
The 2000s saw Outlaws expanding rapidly in Europe. The English and Welsh Outlaws MC, until then independent, joined the AOA in 2000. Ghost Riders MC Germany joined the AOA and chapters were opened in Sweden and Thailand in 2001. In 2002, the First Outlaws Support Club, the Black Pistons MC, was founded in Germany.
Chapters Black Pistons (BPMC) are now available in the United States, Canada, Belgium, Great Britain, Poland, Iceland and Norway. Poland and Italy also opened their first Outlaws chapters. By 2003, Outlaws were represented in 19 US states. In 2005, the club celebrated its 70th anniversary at MC and the 40th anniversary of AOA. The Japanese chapter was opened in 2006, and in 2007 the club opened its chapter in the Philippines. Black Pistons also opened their first chapters in Australia. The Serbian chapter was opened in May 2010.
