Biography
Born in Ilyichevsk , at the age of fifteen she began her volleyball career at the Medic club. Master of Sports of Ukraine , master of sports of Ukraine of international class . Not once was recognized as the best beach volleyball player of Ukraine. At sixteen, Svetlana travels to Espazenda ( Portugal ) to the UEFA European Under-23 Championship and brings her ninth place. Thus began the international career of an athlete. In 2001, she became the owner of the Beach Volleyball Cup of Ukraine paired with Olga Poduryan. In the same year, she performed at the Ukrainian championship together with Galina Oshayko, becoming the champions of Ukraine .
In July 2002, together with Galina Oshyko, they participated in the open national tournament in Poland ( Ustka ), taking third place. And already in August of the same year again the third in the second round of the European Championship Zagreb ( Croatia ). They also become Champions of Ukraine . August 2003, a pair of Osheiko - Baburin win silver at the World Satellite, which took place in Lavender (France) .
