The University of Science and Technology Lille-1 (French Université Lille 1 ) is a French university located in the city of Villeneuve d'Ask and part of the University of Lille-Northern France . The university was established in 1854 in Lille . Later, in 1967, the campus was moved to Villeneuve d'Asc . Lille-1 specializes in science and technology.

The main campus is located in the suburbs of Lille, Villeneuve d'Asc , and covers an area of 1.1 km². There are also additional campuses in the historic center of Lille, in Sallomin , Tourcoing and Vimera .
