Geography
Located in the south-west of the Dmitrovsky district, 20 km from the city of Dmitrovsk. Borders with:
- Aleshinsky rural settlement (in the north);
- Malobobrovsky rural settlement (in the east);
- Kursk region (in the south);
- Bryansk region (in the south-west);
- Domakhovsky rural settlement (in the west).
The main streams of the rural settlement are the Osmon and Rastorog rivers. In the southern part of the rural settlement is located the Voskresnaya Dacha forest.
History
The Berezovsky village council was formed in the first years of Soviet power. According to 1926, it was part of the Kruglinsky volost of Dmitrovsky district of the Oryol province . Since 1928, as part of the Dmitrov district . July 18, 1975 the administrative center of the Berezovsky village council was moved from the village of Beryozovka to the village of Devyatino [1] .
On October 15, 2004, the villages of Avgustovsky , Dmitrovsky , Dubovoi , Zelenaya Roscha , Lozova , Nikitovsky , Samara , Ulyanovsky , located on the territory of the village council, were abolished [2] .
