Biography
The daughter of actor Eugen Burg , Hansi grew up in Berlin and began her acting career in 1917 at the Berlin Comedy Theater under the direction of Heinrich Bolten-Becker . Working in the theater "Trianon", met with actor Hans Albers. At the same time, Hansi became numerous film roles. Soon Hansi Burg and Hans Albers began to live together. With the growing popularity of Albers, Burg went more and more into his shadow and tried on the role of his companion and consultant.
After the National Socialists came to power in 1933, the actor's pair came under observation. To save his career and reduce the pressure, Albers, in an official letter addressed to Goebbels dated October 15, 1935, announced his separation from the Jewish woman Hansi Burg. She apparently married a Norwegian citizen for the species, but in fact Burg and Albers continued to live together on Lake Starnberg until Hansi secretly left Switzerland through London to London in 1939. In 1946, Hansi Burg returned to Germany in the uniform of a British soldier and continued her relationship with Albers until his death in 1960. in 1971, Burg sold her land in Garatshausen to the state, retaining the right to live in the house.
