Biography
In 1409 - 1411, Boleslav, along with his father Janusz Mazowiecki, participated on the side of the Polish king Vladislav Jagello and the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vitovt in the Great War with the Teutonic Order . In 1411 he participated in the signing of the so-called Toruń Peace Treaty between the Polish-Lithuanian state and the Teutonic Order . Since 1412, Boleslav was at the court of the Polish King Vladislav II Jagello . In 1414, on the orders of his father Janusz the Elder, Boleslav commanded the Mazovian army in the new war of Poland and Lithuania against the Teutonic Order . In 1422, after the death of his older brother, Janusz the Younger, Boleslav inherited his possessions in the Princedom .

Boleslav Yanushevich was married to Anna Fedorovna Ratnenskaya (d. 1458 ), the daughter of Prince of Ratnensky Fyodor Olgerdovich (d. 1394/1400 ). Children: Konrad (d. 1427 ), Boleslav IV (c. 1421 - 1454 ), Prince of Warsaw , Chersk and Tsekhanuvsky , Evfimia Mazowiecka (d. 1436 ), wife from 1435 of the Lithuanian prince Mikhail Sigismundovich (d. 1452 ).
