Nassef Onsi Sawiris is an Egyptian entrepreneur, the youngest of the three sons of the famous entrepreneur Onsi Sawiris , the other two are Sami Saviris and Nagib Saviris . Married, has four children. Nasef received his secondary education at a German international school in Cairo, later received an economic education at the University of Chicago , has a bachelor's degree in science and art. In 2012, Forbes put him on the 3rd place in the list of the richest people in Egypt ($ 5.1 billion) [1] .

Following the founding of Orascom Construction Industries, Nassef becomes its CEO, joining the family business in 1990. From this moment, the Saviris family begins active development not only in Egypt, but also beyond. In the mid-90s, Orascom began investing in developing enterprises in Algeria, Turkey, Spain and Nigeria. In 1996, with the direct participation of Nassef Saviris, a merger with the largest cement holding Holcim takes place, as a result, the Egyptian Cement Company appears, which produces more than 10 million tons of cement annually. 54% of the Egyptian Cement Company is owned by the Saviris family, 44% by Holcim. In 2005, with the direct participation of Nassef Saviris, the company acquired a 51% stake in Cementos La Parrilla in Spain, which produces more than 1 million tons of cement annually. Currently, the company under the leadership of Onsi Saviris - the current president and chief manager of business and Nassef Saviris - is actively developing and brings huge profits to the owners. Orascom Group of Companies is the largest cement producer in the East and the most important cement exporter in the region. More than 20 enterprises of the company are located around the world, employing more than 40,000 people. Each year, the group of companies produces more than 25 million tons of cement [2] [3] .

Nasef is also the director of Dubai International Financial Exchange (NASDAQ Dubai), Besix (Belgium), NNS Holding (Luxembourg), president of ECC (Egyptian Cement Company) and director of Lafarge [4] . He is also a member of the Business Secretariat of the National Democratic Party of Egypt , the US Chamber of Commerce , the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
