Biography
Born May 29, 1940 [1] . Alexey’s mother worked as a fitter at the Riga film studio , and Alexey also decided to work in the cinema after seven years. In 1956, he began working as an assistant director at the Riga Film Studio , then entered the camera department of VGIK . After graduating from the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography (1964), he received a distribution at the Central Committee for Youth Affairs named after M. Gorky .
He died on May 15, 2007 after a long illness [2] .
