Geography
The village is located in the northeast of the Kirov region, in the central part of the Verkhnekamsk district, to the southeast of the village of Sozim on the river Nyrmych . The absolute height is 195 meters above sea level [1] . The village is located on the railway branch Yar - Lesnaya . The distance to the district center ( Kirs city) is 40 km.

According to the 2010 All-Russian Census , the population of the village was 1,190 (men - 1,149, women - 41) [2] .
