It is located 18 kilometers northeast of the regional center of the Zubtsov , on the right bank of the Volga . Near the village of Myamlino (on the banks of the Volga) and Selivantsevo .

The population according to the 2002 census is 287 people, 135 men, 152 women.

History

According to [1] 1859, the owner's village of Stalypino, Zubtsovsky district , 312 residents at 36 yards, has an Orthodox church, a baroque marina, and a fair is being held. In the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, the village of Stolypino was the center of the parish and parish of the Zubtsovsky district of the Tver province . During World War II, Stolypino was occupied in October 1941, released in January 1942.

In 1957, the name of the village (village) - Stolypino, in the 1980s - Stolypino.

In 1997 - 107 households, 316 residents. The central estate of the collective farm "Conscious", high school, recreation center, library, medical center, kindergarten, post office, shop.
