Editions
In 1878, he founded the two-month-old Revue occidentale, a positivist organ for France and the West.
In his “Grands Types de l'humanité” (1875–1876, continued in the journal “Revue occidentale”), Luffitt portrayed the creators of religion, the heroes of civilization, and representatives of Catholicism from St. Paul to Bossuet , etc. He would like Paris to become the religious metropolis of the world and arrange a celebration in memory of all these heroes.
He also published a moral course that he taught.
In a small pamphlet, the Révolution française (1880) defended Auguste Comte's proposal to consider 1789 the beginning of a new era and justified the revolution with great enthusiasm.
