Gabriel Jaime Gomez Jaramillo ( Spanish: Gabriel Jaime Gómez Jaramillo ; born December 8, 1959, Medellin ) is a Colombian footballer and football coach. The nickname that made him famous in the world of football was given to him by his grandfather, Gabriel Jaime, since, as a child, he often acted up, was restless and pugnacious.

Biography
As a professional player, he played at Millionarios , Atletico Nacional and Independiente Medellin . In Colombia, Gabriel was recognized several times as the best player in local football between 1987 and 1994. His brother, an assistant coach, and later the coach himself, Hernan Dario Gomez (Bolillo), was always next to him, before the 1994 World Cup, the national team coach, Francisco Maturana, was threatened with reprisal if he did not take Gomez to the United States . As a result, he played at two World Championships (he was also part of the national team at the 1990 World Cup ).
He began his coaching career with Envigado , with whom he worked for a year before moving to Atlético Nacional, the team with which he won his only title as a coach, the 1998 Merconorte Cup [2] . Then he moved to the Union Magdalena, with which there was a demotion in class in 1999. The next clubs were Deportivo Quito in Ecuador and the Venezuelan Caracas . He returned to Colombia to coach Atletico Bucaramanga, but was unable to raise the team from the bottom of the standings. He also worked as an assistant for his brother in the Ecuador national team in the playoffs of the 2002 World Cup , and later in the Guatemalan national team .
He coached Atletico Nacional in the second half of 2008, but was fired in August of that year due to poor results, he was replaced by Jose Santa.
