Archimandrite Timofey (in the world Alexei Radievich Podobedov ; born July 27, 1974 , Voronezh , RSFSR , USSR ) - clergyman of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) , archimandrite (since 2019).

Biography
In 1992 he graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Voronezh State University .
He studied at the Moscow Theological Seminary , which he graduated in 1995. He continued his education at the Moscow Theological Academy . He was the secretary of the MDAiS rector, Bishop of Vereisk Evgeny (Reshetnikov) .
April 5, 1996 took monastic tonsure with the name of Timothy [2] .
On April 13, 1997, he was ordained a hierodeacon , and on May 22 of the same year, he was hieromonk [2] .
On June 11, 1998 he was approved as an English teacher at the Moscow Theological Academy and Seminary [2] .
In 1999, he was appointed clergyman of the Church of the Prophet Elijah in Obydensky Lane in Moscow .
On April 10, 2006, in the Church of St. Nicholas in the Ringleaders, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II was elevated to the rank of hegumen [3] .
October 10, 2006 he was appointed rector of the Church of the Prophet Elijah in the Obydensky lane of the city of Moscow [2] .
In December 2008, the official website of the Patriarchate quoted him saying that he, as rector, considers “reconstruction of the property complex and restoration of frescoes” of the church as his “top priority tasks” [4] .
In 2010, it was mentioned by a doctoral candidate of the General Church Graduate School and Doctoral Studies [1] .
On April 10, 2011, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior for the diligent service of the Church of God and pastoral care was awarded the right to wear a club .
He was also the rector of the house church of Flora and Lavra at the former Ermakov School (now the Moscow College of Economics and Energy ) and the church in the name of St. Mary Magdalene of Equal-to-the-Apostles at Moscow State Linguistic University (attributed to the church of the Prophet Elias Ordinary). He was the curator of the project for the revival of the church on Myasnitskaya .
In April 2012, the Russian media covered the baptism performed by him on the daughter of entertainer F. B. Kirkorov : the singer ascended the pulpit and delivered a speech, which, as well as the fact that the baptized woman was born from a surrogate mother , led to the censure of a number of prominent ROC clergy [5] [6] .
In August 2012, the media received widespread coverage of an accident with his participation [7] , which occurred around midnight on July 31 of that year (the eve of the memory of Serafim Sarovsky , especially honored in Ilyinsky church [8] ) on Zatsepsky Val , under circumstances that caused a public discussion [5] [9] .
On August 17, 2012, it was reported that he was “exempted from obedience with a ban on priesthood until the investigation was completed in the disciplinary commission of the Moscow city diocese” [10] . Zamoskvorechye did not appear at the court hearing on September 3, 2012 [11] , citing, according to his lawyers, an “increased emotional and psychophysical load” [12] . At the hearing on September 6, 2012, he refused to admit his guilt [13] . September 12, 2012 a court decision deprived of a driver's license for one year and eight months for failure to comply with the requirement to undergo a medical examination for intoxication ( part 1 of article 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ) [14] .
March 26, 2013 was admitted to the clergy of the Voronezh and Borisoglebsk diocese and appointed to the post of full-time clergyman of the church in the name of Saints Equal to the Apostles Cyril and Methodius of the city of Voronezh [15] .
On February 28, 2014, by decree of the ruling bishop, he was relieved of the post of full-time clergyman of the church in the name of Saints Equal to the Apostles Cyril and Methodius of the city of Voronezh and appointed to the post of rector of the church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius of the Solunian city of Voronezh [16] .
March 24, 2017, by decree No. 33 signed by the Metropolitan of Voronezh, Sergius (Fomin), was assigned to the state of the Voronezh diocese with the right to transfer to the clergy of the Dzhankoy diocese [17] .
April 30, 2019, with the blessing of Metropolitan Onufry of Kiev and All Ukraine, Bishop of Yalta Nestor (Donenko) , Vicar of the Simferopol Diocese, was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite .
