Differences from Paragliding
Speedgliding is a unique, hybrid sport that combines elements of paragliding , parachuting , as well as skiing or snowboarding . The wings used in speed gliding develop more speed than a paraglider, and the flight itself has a shorter duration and, as a rule, runs along the slope.
Wing
A wing, or, in other words, a glider ( speed glider, speed wing, speed flyer ) is about half the size of an average paraglider and has lower aerodynamic quality . It is capable of speeds from 30 to 145 km / h, while a paraglider from 20 to 70 km / h. [one]
