Poisha ( Beng. পয়সা , English poisha ) - a bargaining unit of Bangladesh , 1/100 Bangladeshi since 1972. Issued in the form of coins since 1973 [1] [2] .
The name is a linguistic variant of the name of the Indian pais coin ( Hindi पैसा , eng. Paisa ).
