Content
Geography
It is located in the Torey Valley at the foot of the southern spurs of the Lesser Hamar-Daban , on the left bank of the Dzhida River (4 km west of the confluence of the Torey River), 40 km from the regional center - the village of Petropavlovka .
The regional highway P440 Gusinoozersk - Zakamensk passes through the village.
History
The village was founded by Cossacks in 1789 . However, the first Cossack posts in this area appeared in 1728 .
January 4, 1871 the Epiphany Church burned down [2] .
On February 1, 1885, a parish school opened. The school opened at the expense of merchants Khrisanfa Lomukhin and Smolev. In the first year, 26 boys and 4 girls attended school. The teacher was a graduate of the Troitskosavsky district school Petty Golubtsov, a petty bourgeois son, the priest Porfiry Malkov was the law teacher [3] .
During the Civil War, there were fights between the Red Army and the White Guards.
Title
The name of the village comes from the Torey River, the left tributary of the Jida (from the Buryat word "tooribo" , which means "to walk in a circle" ).

Economics
Currently, the villagers are engaged in animal husbandry and gardening on personal farmsteads. In Soviet times, a stud farm and a poultry farm worked in the village. In the 1990s, both enterprises closed.
Infrastructure
In Lower Korea, there are budget organizations - the village administration, high school, kindergarten and the house of culture.

Attractions
- 50 km north of the village, behind the watershed of the Small Khamar-Daban ridge, is Lake Tagley . Area - 13 square meters km Depth - up to 5 m. The healing mud of the reservoir helps in the treatment of skin diseases. Near the lake from under the mountains beat the keys. Nearby is the obo [6] .
