November Uprising
From the first day of the November uprising was his supporter. Since December 14, 1830 he was the commandant of the Zamoy fortress . In February 1831, with a corps, he took up positions on the left bank of the Vistula . During March, he received letters from his unfortunate boss Jan Zygmunt Skrzyński twice , in which he expressed dissatisfaction with Seravsky’s actions and ordered him to be active and “disturb” Kreutz . The offended Seravsky, who knew that Skzhinetsky wants to blame him for the shortcomings in command and conduct of the war, decided on ambitious actions. On April 14, he crossed the Vistula, and without a fight he sent the Russian troops to flight. Near Babin ( April 16 ), his vanguard defeated the vanguard of the Russian army, but this was the end of his success. Having boldly entered battle with Kreutz near Vronow , he was defeated, but was not completely defeated and his troops retreated in order. He could continue the retreat for the Vistula, but he waited all night and half the next day (the reasons for this action are unknown to this day) in the town of Kazimierz Dolny, and when Kreutz struck the Polish army was at the crossing, and half already beyond the Vistula.
After that, from June 5, 1831, he commanded the 5th Infantry Division, but the uprising was only continuing at that time; March-April chances to win were already lost.
