About song
Dave Grohl wrote and recorded the song in its original form in 1991 . Grohl played a demo version of the song to his Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain , during a break between the tours in support of the album Nevermind .
“I told him that I recorded a few songs, and he said:“ Oh, I want to listen, bring them. ” He sat in the bathroom with a player, listened to the songs, and when the tape ended, he took off the headphones, kissed me and said: “Oh, finally, I will not be the only songwriter in the group!”, I said: “No, no , no, I think we will manage only your songs "" [1] [2] - Dave Grohl.
Original Text (Eng.)I was recording the song, I’m not I’ve been listening to the songwriter in the band! I think no, no, no, no, I think we're doing just fine with your songs.
Nirvana also played a song on soundchecks during their European tour in 1991 [3] .
