Biography
The son of Prince Pinsk Vladimir . In 1262, together with his older brothers Fedor and Demid, he congratulated the Galician-Volyn prince Vasilko Romanovich on his victory over the Lithuanians near the city of Nebli , who caused much harm to the Pinsk principality with their raids. According to Grushevsky , he died in 1288/1289.
Upon death, Yuri Vladimirovich is described in the annals as " meek, humble, truthful "; he was mourned by the widow, sons, brother - Prince Demides, “ and all people weep for him weeping great ” [1] .
