Biography
Alexey Vorobyov was born on February 13, 1973. In 1996 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Informatics and Control Systems of Moscow State Technical University (MSTU). N. E. Bauman [1] . He defended his thesis on the theme “Development of a parallel numerical procedure for the synthesis of a linear control system with restrictions on the module in the state space based on T805 transputer ” [2] .
From 1993 to 1996 he worked as a correspondent for the Interfax agency [2] .
Since 1996 he has been working on television. Initially, an NTV employee, a correspondent for economic news [2] . Then he worked on the RTR television channel. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a presenter in the morning program “Day after Day” as the leading column “Finance” and “News Scale” on the TV-6 channel [2] . Head of morning information broadcasting TV-6 [3] .
From September 2001 to January 2002, he was the host of the morning episodes of the Now program on TV-6 [4] .
From June 2002 [5] to June 2003, he was the presenter of the daily issues of the Novosti program on TVS [6] .
Since 2003 - the leading radio station "Echo of Moscow" [7] . Author and director of the joint European project “Window to Europe” of the European Commission and RTVi [8] . From 2003 to 2008, he also conducted the news releases “Now in Russia” on RTVi [9] .
Since 2006 - Deputy Chief Editor of Echo of Moscow. In December 2009, he left his post [10] . Alexei Venediktov called Vorobyov’s departure from Echo “a great loss” [11] .
Aleksey Vorobyev has worked at Kommersant FM since the founding of the radio station, and in the years he worked as First Deputy Editor-in-Chief [12] [13] .
Since 2010 - First Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Kommersant FM radio station [14] . From July 2012 [15] to March 2013, he was the editor-in-chief of the radio station [16] [17] . On March 4, 2013, he wrote a letter of resignation from the post of chief editor of Kommersant FM radio station.
From May 2013 to June 2014, he was the chief editor of Vesti radio station ( Ukraine ) [18] .

From July 2016 to the present, he is again the editor-in-chief of Kommersant FM radio station [20] .
