Biography

Serviceman. He played for CSKA (Moscow).

Champion of the 1976 Olympic Games. Silver medalist of the 1980 Olympics .

1982 world champion. Silver medalist of the World Cup 1978, 1985. Winner of the 1985 Super Cup, 1987 Cup Cup. Champion of the USSR 1976-1980, 1982, 1983, 1987. Winner of the Spartakiad of the Peoples of the USSR in 1975 and 1979.

As part of the USSR national team, he held 252 meetings, scored 601 goals. For many years he worked as a trainer abroad.

In 2017, he was an assistant to Stepan Sidorchuk in the men's youth team of Russia (under 21), which took 8th place at the World Championships in Algeria.
