Biography
Laura Kamaur, the artist’s daughter, studied in Vienna and at in Milan. Soon she began work in the cinema, where she mainly got the role of "fam fatal" . In 1930, she married Hungarian officer Oscar Semer, but divorced him in Reno in 1940. In the same year she was awarded the prize of the Venice Film Festival for her role in the film "Don Pascual." Thanks to the close cooperation of German and Italian filmmakers in the 40s, Laura Solari became the most famous Italian movie star in Germany, starring in three films produced by UFA .
In the postwar years, she was predominantly occupied in the theater and on Italian television.
