History
In 1862, the Moscow - Ryazan railway line reached Kolomna . When the branch approached the Oka , the board of directors appealed to the city authorities for land allocation for the construction of the station. But the price offered by the city was so high that the board was forced to abandon the idea of building a station inside the city limits. However, in 1863, engineer Struve bought a plot of land near the village of Bobrovo (Bobrenevo), near Kolomna, from the landowner N. M. Golitsyn. And on this land at the same time began the construction of the plant and the railway station with the name "Kolomna". Later, the road built a platform called Novo-Kolomna in the city itself, but at the expense of the passengers themselves (the ticket from Moscow to the city was more expensive than the more distant station at the plant). Over time, in order to avoid confusion, the station was renamed to “Golutvin”, and the platform - to “ Kolomna ”.
