The National Museum of Denmark ( dated. Nationalmuseet ) is the largest historical and cultural museum in Denmark , located in the capital of the state - Copenhagen , in its central part, at the following address: Ny Vestergade, 10, not far from the pedestrian zone of . A large number of material culture monuments, brought by Danish scientists from all continents and islands: from Greenland to South America, are on display in the museum. In addition, material support is provided to the SILA Greenland Research Center based on the National Museum of Denmark, which conducts archaeological and anthropological excavations in Greenland, and then exhibits the finds directly in the museum itself.
