Aram Khachikovich Arutyunyan ( Armenian Արամ Հարությունյան , born July 20, 1967 , Yegvard ) is an Armenian statesman. Governor of Kotayk region of RA

- 1988–1992 - Secretary of the LKSM committee of the Nairi agricultural firm.
- 1992-1994 - was engaged in commercial activities in the Russian Federation .
- 1994–1996 - Director of Armincomobsluzhivanie state enterprise.
- 1996-1999 - Director of the state-owned enterprise “Armplodproduction”.
- 1999-2003 - was a member of the parliament of Armenia. Member of the Standing Committee on Social Affairs, Health and Environment.
- May 25, 2003 - re-elected deputy. Member of the Standing Committee on Finance, Budget, and Economic Issues.
- 2004—2007 - Minister of Urban Development of the Republic of Armenia
- 2007—2014 - Minister of Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia
- From May 8, 2014 - Governor of Kotayk marz of the Republic of Armenia
- From April 2, 2015 - Chairman of the Water Management Committee of Armenia.
- In January 2019, he was charged as a defendant in a corruption case and put on the wanted list [1] .

Corruption charge
According to the data of June 2019, Aram Harutyunyan was charged with receiving a bribe in especially large amounts and money laundering (under articles 331. part 4.2.2. And part 3.1.1). As a representative of the executive, with the assistance of people close to him, he received a bribe in especially large amounts, after which he legalized illegally obtained property. According to the prosecution, Aram Harutyunyan, being the Minister of Nature Protection, at the same time holding the post of chairman of the interdepartmental commission on the formation of public rights to subsoil areas containing strategic minerals, issued 10 special licenses to entrepreneur Silva Ambartsumyan, and therefore demanded and received a bribe especially large amounts of $ 14 million. Aram Harutyunyan is wanted. [2]
