Biography
Father, Boris Afanasyevich Krivulin, originally from Vologda, was a military officer. Mother, Yevgenia Borisovna, half Jewish and half Polish - (originally from the Polish gentry ) worked as a medical assistant.
In 1960, he met Anna Akhmatova , from 1962 he attended a literary association led by Gleb Semyonov . He graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University in 1967, a year before graduation he left the Komsomol. He defended a diploma in the works of Innocent Annensky .
A prominent figure of the unofficial culture of Leningrad . The first winner of the Andrei Bely Prize in 1978. In the 1970s one of the largest figures of the Leningrad literary and cultural samizdat (magazines 37, Severnaya Pochta, etc.).
In the early 1990s. Member of the editorial board of the journal " Bulletin of New Literature ." In the 90s he conducted extensive literary and social activities.
The first books under the same name "Poems" (1981 and 1988) were published in Paris, then followed the poetic collections "The Appeal" (1990), "Concert on Applications" (1993), "The Last Book" (1993), "Pre-Frontier" (1994 ), “Requiem” (1998), “Bathing in Jordan” (1998), “Poems of the Jubilee Year” (2001), “Poems after Poems” (2001). The book of poems of the 1970s “Compositions” (2010) was published posthumously.
From 1974 he was married to Tatyana Goricheva before her emigration in 1980. Later he was married several times; last wife - philologist Olga Kushlina .
He was buried at the Smolensk Orthodox cemetery of St. Petersburg.
