Biography
In 1926, he joined the Volksbühne theater company as an actor, working with Max Reinhardt and Erwin Piskator . In 1931 he began to act in films, was engaged in directing. In 1943 he staged a comedy film "Acrobat, Pre-kra-a-sno!" , Narrating the fate of honest clown artist Charlie in Nazi Germany .
