Biography

Born on October 5, 1923 in Ukraine. Member of the Great Patriotic War, awarded orders and medals.

After the war, in 1952 he graduated from the Journalism Department of the Philological Faculty of the University of Latvia in Riga . In 1953-1963 he worked in the editorial offices of various periodicals in Riga and Kiev .

In 1966-1981 he headed the Zhytomyr organization of SPU. He was the executive secretary of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine.
