Antofagasta de la Sierra - a group of slag cones located on the same volcanic field . The highest cone rises to 4000 meters. Located in the province of Catamarca , Argentina . They are composed mainly of basalts , andesites and solidified lavas. Analysis of frozen lavas showed that volcanic activity in the area was several thousand years ago.
