The Spanish women's national football team is the Spanish national football team that plays at the European and World Women's Championships. Going under the direction of the Royal Spanish Football Federation. The national team’s head coach is Ignacio Céreda, who has led the national team since 1988. Unlike the men's team , it is not a strong team: for the first time she played at the European Championships in 1997, returning there after as many as 16 years, and did not participate in the World Championships at all. More successful is the team of girls under 17 years old, who won the European Championships in 2010 and 2011.
