Biography
He began his labor activity as a mechanic, then - chairman of a collective farm, deputy head of the district production department.
- 1965-1974 - First Secretary of the Primorsky District Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine. In this post, he achieved particular success in the development of agriculture - the yield in the region rose from 13.8 to 34.9 centners per hectare, and the number of birds and livestock increased.
- 1974-1976 - first Deputy,
- 1976-1988 - Chairman of the Zaporozhye Regional Executive Committee.
He was elected a deputy and a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of Ukraine of two convocations.
Since 1988, retired.
Awards and titles
He was awarded the Order of Lenin, the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor, four medals.
