Eleni Artimata ( Greek Ελένη Αρτυματά , born May 16, 1986) is a Cypriot athlete .

Biography
Artimata represented Cyprus at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , where she reached the second round in the 200m race . At the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, she won two medals: a gold medal in the 200-meter race and a bronze medal in the 100-meter race [1] . She also won two gold medals at the 2005 games of the small states of Europe . At the 2009 World Athletics Championships, she reached the finals in the 200m race, where she took 8th place. In the semi-finals of the tournament, she set a personal record, having run two hundred meters in 22.64 s. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, she ran the fastest qualifying races of 200 meters. However, shortly after the race she was disqualified, as she entered a neighboring track during the race. In 2013, Artimata won a 200-meter run for the second time in her career at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin [2] .
